Our highly-experienced practitioners and lecturers offer a wide variety of specialisms in acting and theatre performance, providing superb opportunities to get hands-on, real-life experience through work placements and live events.
Why choose Performing Arts
Our Performing Arts courses will develop your professional skills and get you ready for employment in a variety of roles on stage and screen, in TV and film, or in streaming and podcasting.
Developing the core professional skills of acting, movement and voice, you will engage in practical projects leading to small and larger scale performances.
You will benefit from many superb opportunities to get hands-on, real-life experience through work placements and external events, and you can even “earn while you learn” as part of our Studio 38 Youth Theatre team of workshop facilitators and support assistants.
Progress to a degree
You can start at SCQF Level 5 (the equivalent to National 5s) and progress through HNC/HND and on to year 3 of a degree at one of our partner universities or move into employment.
So studying at Fife College can be a more cost-effective, local alternative route to the same degree in Scotland, in the same amount of time!
