Celebrating 125 Years of Learning
Back in 1899, esteemed local politician and businessman George Lauder established the Lauder Technical College, with funding from his nephew, the famous industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie. And for 125 years since, the provision of college education in Fife has offered opportunities for countless thousands of students and benefited the people, communities and businesses of the region.
The College has evolved through the years, delivering education and training opportunities for all and contributing to the prosperity of the region and local communities.
