Supplementing our existing offering, Fife College is focused on renewable energy and sustainable construction. Aligning with the Scottish Government’s Climate Emergency Skills Action Plan, we have ambitions of establishing a Centre of Excellence in Renewable Energy and a Retrofitting Regional Hub, addressing the crucial skills for decarbonisation and environmental sustainability.

Domestic Retrofit Practice

This free, two-day Domestic Retrofit in Practice workshop is ideal for individuals passionate about sustainability and energy efficiency, including energy advisors, community champions, and others looking to support Fife communities. Delivered in close partnership with The Verdancy Group, this workshop offers practical insights into retrofitting homes to help reduce energy costs and carbon footprints.
