Hi, I'm Rebecca Reader.

I started with Fife College on the HNC: Fitness, Health and Exercise in 2019, went on to do the HND and then on to Napier University for Sport and Exercise Science.

During my time studying at Fife College we had lots of experience working with different populations, and lots of experience and stories from the lecturing staff and other staff in the college.

We worked closely with the Student Association doing bits of extracurricular stuff, and just the experience was really good. I felt like I was well set up to go out into work and other opportunities.

Since completing my studies, I've come back to the College as the Fife College Student Association Sport and Active Campus Coordinator, so I'm responsible for setting up recreational clubs, organising sports competitions, both at national and international level, as well as the Come and Try around the campus, making sure people have got opportunities to get active and meet people.

My ambitions for the future would be to keep working in this role at Fife College and really expand on the opportunities that people have got to get involved in sport. Once we move into the new Dunfermline campus, that will increase even more because we have some great new facilities and I’m just looking forward to seeing how we can work with the students to develop them further and offer more for both the students here and the communities that our campuses sit in.
