What will I learn on the course?

You'll learn the ins and outs of heat pump non-refrigerant circuits, including how to:

  • effectively install, commission and handover heat pump systems
  • perform inspections, servicing, and maintenance to keep them running smoothly

The course incorporates the delivery of Heat Pump Technology and/or Air Source Technology and/or Ground Source Technology., and will culminate in both written and practical assessments.

Our hands-on training approach ensures that you'll gain practical experience and develop the expertise needed to excel in the field. With our comprehensive curriculum, you'll be equipped with the knowledge and skills to confidently handle non-refrigerant circuits in heat pump systems.

  • Upon completion of the program, you'll have the opportunity to progress on to the Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems or the Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Solar Thermal Hot Water Systems, allowing you to broaden your knowledge of available renewable sector systems.
