PAT Testing Awareness

This introductory course is designed to provide you with an awareness of the need for in-service inspection & testing of electrical equipment, and an appreciation of the basic skills and understanding required to carry out this maintenance activity at a basic level. The awareness course is at an introductory level and is based upon the IET Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment, content includes the need for Inspection & Testing of electrical equipment; Basic & fault protection used for safety in Portable Appliances Range of inspections and tests required. Correct and safe use of Portable Appliance Tester Carry out inspections & tests on various equipment.
