Fife College recently opened its doors to host a Winter Pamper Evening at their Dunfermline Campus, welcoming guests that included teachers and careers advisors from Fife schools.
The event provided an opportunity for attendees to experience a variety of pampering treatments, interact with students and staff, and explore the state-of-the-art facilities on offer at the College.
The free Winter Pamper Evening featured a range of treatments, including massages, hair spas, manicures, and facials. The College’s Hospitality students also showcased their talents by providing festive canapés and sparkling beverages to guests, who all left the event with a special pamper goodie bag.
Aimed at fostering further connections between the College and local schools, the evening offered a glimpse into the diverse educational and vocational opportunities available at Fife College, with similar events planned in the future.
Fi Craig, Academic and Quality Manager for Creative Hairdressing and Performance Artistry said:
"We’re delighted with the success of our Winter Pamper Evening event. It was a lovely chance for our guests to relax and experience the talents of our students, as well as to learn more about the pathways the College offers, including those into Hair and Beauty careers.
“Hot on the heels of this event, next week our Performing Arts students are starring in an exciting adaptation of A Christmas Carol, where Ebenezer Scrooge is reimagined as Eleanor Scrooge! The show is open to everyone, with a special free performance for teachers with canapés and fizz on 16 December.”
Tickets for A Christmas Carol at Fife College’s Kirkcaldy Campus can be purchased on Eventbrite: A Christmas Carol Tickets, Multiple Dates | Eventbrite.
Teachers who would like to attend the performance on 16 December should contact vikkiwilson@fife.ac.uk for more information.
