Tay Cities Hospitality Programme Launch

Posted on: 10/02/26

The Hospitality Skills Project officially launched on 3 February 2026, bringing together leaders, employers, and partners from across the hospitality and skills sectors.

The launch event introduced the aims of the Hospitality Skills Project and highlighted how employers and partners across the Tay Cities Region can play an essential role in its success. Attendees heard from speakers representing industry, education, and local government, who outlined the importance of investing in skills to support long-term growth in the hospitality sector.

The project provides grant funding to support schools, hospitality businesses, and organisations to invest in skills training, leadership development, and workforce skills. During the launch, the project team shared an overview of the available funding, the upcoming application process, and ways organisations can get involved.

While the application process is being finalised, organisations are encouraged to begin reflecting on their training and development needs. This includes considering where the workforce may benefit most from upskilling or re-skilling, and where targeted investment could have the greatest impact on business performance.

The project team looks forward to supporting hospitality businesses across the Tay Cities Region as the project progresses and will release full application details as soon as they become available.
