Hi, I'm Katie Wansall and I'm studying Level 5 Travel and Tourism at Fife College.
I'm really enjoying it and it's opening up different experiences to the Travel and Tourism industry. My course involves sustainability, customer service, tourist destinations, and cabin crew.
I'm learning about different ways businesses will deal with customer service and customer service feedback, and how cabin crew works in doing services when you're in cabin crew.
And that's my favourite part about it because that's what I want to go forward with, is being cabin crew.
When I found out about the possibility to do work experience at the Stanza Poetry Festival in St Andrews, through one of the lecturers at the college, I straight away thought it would be a really good thing to add on to my CV. And it was a good experience. I would do it again. I got to work with loads of different new people and meet new people of different ages, and it was all just a different experience from what I'm used to in different working environments.
I would definitely recommend Fife College. All your lecturers are super supportive and there are so many different experiences and opportunities you can go for, and it's been a great course.
